Journal Writing Workshop led by Angie Haugland

Saturday, October 12, 2019 - 1:00pm to 2:30pm

Keeping a journal helps you establish order when your world feels like it's in chaos.  It helps you get to know yourself by revealing your innermost fears, thoughts, and feelings.  Journaling can help to cope with depression, anxiety and stress.  Negative thoughts can be identified, giving an avenue for change, and provide an opportunity for positive self-talk.

Angie Haugland is a high school English teacher in Minnesota, and she has an undergrad degree in Creative Writing from MSU Moorhead and a  Master's degree in Education from Concordia University, Wisconsin.  When she is not hanging out with her three-year-old, she writes short stories and is working on her debut novel, Blood Moon.
